Miss Tiger began her career at the Bijou Theater in Chicago.
She is the only performer since the days of the Continental Baths
to have performed a non-sexual cabaret in a gay adult theater.

Miss Tiger's Cabaret featured irreverent stage productions written and directed by Miss Tiger.
Shows included live singing, original music, stand-up comedy and a diverse cast ensemble.
Sukie de la Croix of the Windy City Times wrote, "Miss Tiger is a star!  Nobody else is doing this kind of thing!"

In October 2012, Miss Tiger introduced her syndicated advice column, Favorite Bitch®
to the Derek and Romaine show on SIriusXM Radio.  Favorite Bitch® was a recurring monthly segment
and during the show, Miss Tiger offered call-in sex advice to listeners and moderated discussions
on all things involving relationships, sex and dating.  Her expertise as a 'sexual anthropologist,'
added candid fun to the wild and witty romp.  In addition to her monthly segment,
Miss Tiger frequently guest co-hosted the GLAAD award-winning talk show and remained with Derek and Romaine
until it's end it 2015.

Today she continues to dispense relationship advice in her syndicated column, Favorite Bitch®.
The column is featured in LGBTQ regional periodicals and appears in magazines such as OUT.

Miss Tiger's freelance work includes celebrity interviews for Vanity Teen, DAM MAN and VT GIRL.

In addition to her performative work, she founded The Blueboy® Archives and Cultural Arts Foundation,
a California registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.  BACAF work includes contextualizing Blueboy®
within LGBTQ history and remediating the publication for a contemporary audience.  The Foundation
is committed to preserving Blueboy® archives and other work of queer artists, magazines, newspapers, artwork,
literary works, films and memorabilia.

As BACAF Executive Director, Miss Tiger will also serve as Editor-in-Chief of Blueboy® 2019; the publication's
first issue in over a decade.  Blueboy® 2019 will feature an international team of contributors in order to
reimagine the publication for a diverse and multi-generational audience; showcasing lifestyle and news features,
social commentary, essays, fashion and art.

Miss Tiger is a graduate of New York University.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Media, Culture and Communication.

Her work as a radio host, lifestyle writer and interviewer explores media as it intersects with performance of gender,
sexuality, aesthetics, queer theory and visual memory.  Miss Tiger's research work explores the synchronic spoken,
informal, performed and traditional forms of expressed culture within various LGBTQ communities.

She resides in West Hollywood.  


Velvet brings over 13 years of radio experience to The Miss Tiger Show.
Her experience is in both talk radio and music as a performer, producer and station director.

Velvet offers up quips, sarcasm, high energy and that sultry voice!  She's straight (and recently engaged)
and a friend and ally to the LGBTQ community :^*

Her likes include drama shows, sci-fi and mystery, outdoor activities, exploring new cuisine and cooking.
Her dislikes include messy people, real life drama and negativity.

Velvet and Miss Tiger have been friends and creative partners for over seven years.  They've created LGBTQ
content on various mediums and The Miss Tiger Show is an extension of the many years of collaboration.

She lives and thrives in Austin, Texas.
